THis was just something fun to do looking through some of my favorite artists on deviantart. I tried to figure out how they draw and color by going through their galleries and trying it out with my own OC's For this I tried to look through multiple pieces from their galleries not just one.
I cheated, I picked his brain about coloring with black lol
Otherwise going through and trying to take a deeper look at his style the style itself has sharp features in the chin, nose, shoulders, ankles, joints. If you look closely often there are pretty subtle details with the hair, uses simple and necessary folds on the clothing, and I love his colored pencil works! Has that really nice grainy-ness that I tend to fail with, wish I could draw couples/groups like he can as well xp
He's always been amazing with expressions too and it's probably one of the first things I notice with his art. THe expression, hair detail, and poses are amazing.

Loved this artist since I found them on da, though honestly I have a hard time looking at their art because it's so amazing I manage to feel bad about myself T.T
They have an amazing style complemented with smooth coloring. A lot of their pieces also come with an amazing story as well. THey have an ability to literally draw anything...
I love all the flexible poses, designs, and stories that come along with their art!
I found that trying to learn from your art was incredibly hard because of all the variety of poses, I meant to color over the graphite I did of the study I did from your gallery, but I kinda liked how the graphite looked and didn't want to kill it more then I already did T.T I probably spent the most time in your gallery!

Another amazing style, I don't see this often, but I love their chibis! Their non chibi's are just as amazing!
Looking closely not all of the coloring is as refined as most people would make it but it's subtle enough to where it blends nicely in with the rest of the piece. Also with simple necessary folds and generous chibi highlights. Sparkles!!

Again, another artist who;s work I LOVE but can;t look at to long before feeling terrible about myself xp
They also have an amazing ability to draw anything, I love their style and their coloring. Pretty sure their art was the reason I tried watercoloring in the first place, and possibly markers. I've yet to use them together but I may try that sometime. THey have strong features laid in their style as well, incredible details in the hair

So far I've learned I still suck with markers, and... I think so far if I've learned anything from anyone I've learned a but about colored pencils from Xelyn.
And the graphite pencils are really nice!
So I hope this is ok with the artist's, just wanted to see what I could learn from observing your art and see if I can find new ones to make mine better.
If an artist I've spotlighted here has a problem with this please let me know either in a comment or note. I'll take it down if it is a problem.
